Utereg m'n stadsie daar gebeurt van alle hand

Ik kom graag in stad Utrecht het is een prachtige stad om vrij werk te fotograferen. Er is van alles te beleven en te zien. Zo loop ik graag door de 7 steegjes of slenter over de eeuwenoude grachten en beneden op de verschillende werven langs de oude werfkelders.

UTEREG (OLD DIALECT) MY CITY THERE IS A LOT GOING ON

I like to come to the city of Utrecht it is a beautiful city to photograph free work. There is a lot to experience and see. For example I like to walk through the 7 alleys or stroll over the centuries-old canals and down on the various wharves along the old wharf cellars.

Fotografeer De fietsbellen en letters

Als je Utrecht bezoekt kijk dan vooral ook eens naar beneden. Op de Oudegracht vind je in en tussen de oude klinkers overal platgedrukte fietsbellen, in alle vormen, kleuren en maten. Het is soms komisch om te zien. In de straat zijn letters gebeiteld. Elk in een bestaande steen op straat. Het is een oneindig gedicht en elke week komt er een letter bij.

When you visit Utrecht, be sure to look down. On the Oudegracht, in and between the old cobblestones, you will find flattened bicycle bells everywhere, in all shapes, colours and sizes. It is sometimes funny to see. Letters are chiselled into the street. Each in an existing stone on the street. It is an infinite poem and every week a letter is added.

Utereg bruist aan alle kant…

In het centrum van Utrecht tegenover de Dom ligt de Domkerk. De kerk is 7 dagen per week open. Er zijn geregeld verschillende tentoonstellingen te bezichtigen en er staan prachtige boeketten in vensters of nissen opgesteld. Ik maak graag een wandeling naar de hofjes zoals het Pandhof van de Domkerk of bij de Domtoren de mooie tuin van de Flora’s Hof.

UTEREG (old dialect) IS BUBBLING ON EVERY SIDE…

In the centre of Utrecht, opposite the Dom, lies the Dom Church. The church is open 7 days a week. There are regularly various exhibitions to visit and there are beautiful bouquets in windows or niches. I like to take a walk to the courtyards such as the Pandhof of the Dom Church or the beautiful garden of the Flora’s Hof at the Dom Tower.
